Digital Art Blog: Emma

This project was to take a photo of ourselves and to make a contour drawing then color it in. I personally struggled doing this because I find drawing facial features much harder than scenery. I think that the final Image turned out ok.

For my cartoon masterpiece I chose Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh. I copied it line for line and it was very tedious, It was all pretty much done with a 6px brush, I love how it turned out. All the work was totally worth it.

This is the second part of the scream, we had to take a photo of our face and put it over the actual scream's face. In my opinion I do not make a good scream, I liked this project though it was fun getting familiar with the blur tool.

    The Scream Assignment was like the Mona Lisa, we had to do a contour drawing of it then color the scream. I used the blur tool to make the background and some other elements of the piece look less harsh and more like the original masterpiece.

           The Mona Lisa assignment was an assignment that we had to trace and color the Mona Lisa. I took the liberties of adding eyebrows, hoodie, and jeans. Background I made from a reference.
